THE SHORT ANSWER

Official PC and console pre-download opens September 14 at 10:00 UTC+8. Console preload requires a pre-order pack; downloading files does not open the servers. See the platform conditions below.

FIELD NOTE 01

September 14 preload conditions

PC: reserve 40 GB; an SSD is recommended. Install the current launcher from the official announcement. Old beta clients must be replaced. PS5/Xbox: preload follows a pre-order purchase; reserve 30–35 GB. PS5 installation requires its internal SSD.

FIELD NOTE 03

Understand what each step completes

Keep your preparation checklist explicit. Completing a wishlist action does not establish that you registered for a separate website reward, and obtaining an installer does not establish that the servers are open. This distinction matters most when several launch activities use different accounts or dates.

FIELD NOTE 04

Before the first launch

Check the date for your platform, the device requirements shown by its store and the account you intend to use. If you participated in the dated web event, review the email-matching condition in launch rewards. Agree on a region with friends before creating characters when the client presents that choice.

Keep enough installation space and a reliable connection available. Use the current official announcement for the installer and recheck its dated requirements. A successful download is preparation; server availability and login still need to be checked at launch.
