Egg Heist is described as PvEvP on the Lost Isles with three-player teams. That confirms your group size for this mode; it does not establish a fixed two-team 3v3 match, trading rules or the party size of every other activity.

Launch changes: Chaos Mode and more egg types
The September 3 developer letter announces additional obtainable egg types and a harder Chaos Mode for Operation: Egg Heist. Returning players should check the mode they select before reusing a beta plan. The letter does not provide its unlock requirement, match timer, scoring table or chest coordinates.
The same update separately adds Pathfinder Challenge rematches and AI teammates for Holo-Battle Interlink. AI support in that named activity is not confirmation that Egg Heist supplies AI teammates. Choose the activity first, then verify its own entry and party requirements.

Settle the session details before sending invitations
Agree on the intended mode, platform and region before treating a failed invitation as a gameplay problem. A storefront feature badge is a broad capability label; the actual invite flow and available modes belong to the current client. Keep the same mode name in your group chat so you are not preparing for different activities.
The server and cross-play reference separates the listed Steam regions from questions about shared saves. If you are starting together, compare the region choices you are actually shown before creating characters. Do not assume a later transfer will repair a mismatched choice.
Choose responsibilities before choosing a tier label
For a first coordinated session, assign simple communication responsibilities: one person calls the immediate objective, another watches the group’s condition, and everyone reports when their key ability is unavailable. These are suggested player habits, not fixed in-game classes.
Read the conditions behind a proposed companion combination. Glacy supplies healing descriptions, Chirpi includes control and support effects, and Susuta’s trait depends on a particular family/sex condition. A team that merely displays three different role badges may still fail to activate the interaction its players expected.
| Before a fight | During a fight | After a fight |
|---|---|---|
| Name the immediate objective | Call a change in target or position | Check whether everyone pursued the same goal |
| Read key skill conditions | Announce the useful window | Identify a condition that never activated |
| Agree when to regroup | Report low resources clearly | Change one part of the plan |

Review coordination separately from individual damage
After a difficult attempt, ask whether the group arrived together, understood the objective and used its abilities in compatible windows. Those questions can explain a poor result even when each creature is individually capable. Replacing the entire roster immediately makes that diagnosis harder.
For a more useful second attempt, keep most of the plan constant and change the clearest failure: an unclear call, a missed support window or a companion whose condition was never met. Record the mode and version if you later share the result as advice.
Common questions
Is Egg Heist confirmed to be 3v3?
The cited description specifies a three-player team. It does not state that only two teams participate, so a universal 3v3 label would go beyond that evidence.
Can we trade every creature with friends?
The official Bond Pact FAQ explicitly makes creatures hatched from sealed beta eggs account-bound and non-tradable. That specific restriction does not define a general trading system. See the beta-history guide for the claim and hatching rules.
