Choose a Sparkling method by the style outcomes it supports. Published style percentages are conditional on that method; they are not the chance that an arbitrary wild creature is Sparkling.

Match the method to the desired style
Begin with the outcome you care about: a particular visual style, a specific creature/form, or a training attribute. These are different goals. A method that can yield your preferred style still requires a suitable target or egg, and an attractive appearance does not by itself document a battle advantage.
The official style table distinguishes world catches, egg categories and style-changing items. Use its zero-probability entries as exclusions for that specified method. Do not reinterpret an unavailable style as merely a very rare one.

Understand a one-percent outcome
A one-percent event is not guaranteed by the hundredth attempt. In an illustrative independent, unchanged-probability model, the chance of at least one success is 1 − (1 − p)^n. With p = 0.01, ten attempts give about 9.6%, fifty about 39.5%, and one hundred about 63.4%. This is a mathematical model, not a statement that the game lets you repeat any particular method that many times.
Conversely, a short unsuccessful run does not establish that the published chance is wrong. Ten failures are entirely plausible under that model. Keep a spending limit based on the resources you are willing to use, not an expectation that previous failures make the next attempt “due.” No style-specific pity is established by the cited table.
For a different method with a half-percent target outcome, substitute 0.005 rather than borrowing the one-percent example. Also avoid adding Dazzling and Shadow probabilities if only one of those styles would satisfy your objective.
Keep style and training attributes separate
The launch letter adds Perfect Potential for Aniimo captured with a Sparkling Cube. Keep that wording attached to the announced capture use; do not silently generalize it to Pigment, Sigils or every egg method. A style table answers a visual-outcome question and does not supply every training rule.
Before using a limited item, check the item description, exact target form and expected output in the current client. Afterward, record the method as well as the appearance.
