These are ability-reading examples, not a replacement for the current client’s input tutorial. Use the ability only when it is available to you, follow its displayed input and compare the observed result with the description. This makes the next step concrete without inventing a keyboard shortcut or unlock quest.

Measure the outcome that matters to your trip
For travel, compare the complete route and resources remaining at the destination. For detection, compare what you can identify before and after using the ability. For a field effect, observe the actual interaction rather than assuming it grants a resource reward.
A short path you know well is a better learning area than an unfamiliar region full of interruptions. Once you understand the ability, apply it to the real expedition. Keep combat testing separate from movement testing when targets or enemies would make the comparison inconsistent.
When the obstacle remains unsolved
Check whether the ability addresses the obstacle at all. Detection is not automatically a movement tool; a dash described in an attack is not automatically a free traversal action. If the wording does not support the use, try a different documented ability or follow the environment’s current instructions.
Avoid building a route around a shortcut that works only under conditions you have not recorded. Save the landmark and the selected creature form when you find a useful interaction. That gives another player a way to understand and repeat the discovery.
