Aniimo Steam account linking: email login, conflicts and beta rewards

Read the newer reward notice before relinking

The September 15 notice routes Steam-test reward cases and existing characters you want to preserve to Customer Support. It also distinguishes direct email-and-code login from third-party sign-in. The older linking instructions below remain context for the normal Steam route, not a replacement for this recovery guidance.

Start with the Steam account used in the test

The published scenario is specific: a player used Steam during an earlier beta, then signed into Aniimo with a different email account. The FAQ says that the Steam account can be linked to the Aniimo Pass email. Begin by identifying the Steam account that actually participated, rather than assuming every account on the same computer has that participation history.

Keep the target Pass email and expected character server alongside that Steam identity. This is an Atlas checking workflow, not a claim that the game merges all characters or rewards attached to unrelated logins. Linking an identity and verifying an entitlement are separate checks.

Use either documented linking route

Download the current Steam client for Aniimo and sign in. The official FAQ describes a prompt for linking the Pass email at this stage. Complete it with the account you intend to keep. If you already entered the game without doing so, the FAQ names the in-game Email Link page as the later route.

Check identity, server and reward as separate results

First check that the email link reflects the intended account. Next confirm the server: the launch FAQ states that platform progress is shared within a server, while different servers keep separate data. Finally check the particular test reward under its event conditions.

For test rewards, the newer September 15 notice directs Steam-test participants to Customer Support. Record the test name, Steam participation identity, intended Pass, server and observed mailbox state. The older FAQ does not replace that later recovery instruction.

Avoid turning a missing reward into a second-account problem

Atlas recommends keeping a small record of what you checked and when. If the link succeeds but the reward is absent, repeating account creation changes the problem instead of explaining the missing entitlement. Ask about the specific reward rather than requesting a general cross-save fix.

For background on which test you joined, see beta history. For a future move to PS5 or Xbox, read console account linking before its first login. Steam’s later linking option must not be assumed to exist on console.

Before moving from PC to mobile

The September 16 announcement confirms shared PC/mobile progress. On mobile, use the same account; also check your server rather than creating another identity to look for a missing character.

Test saves do not carry into launch. Eligible test rewards are a separate claim: use the official reward page with the test account. Linking accounts does not restore an erased beta character.
